Andrometa, a company focused on blending blockchain technology with traditional gaming, has successfully completed its seed round. This milestone is set to support the company’s efforts to merge on-chain innovation with conventional gaming experiences. The funding for the round was exclusively provided by Moon Pursuit Capital.
While the exact amount raised has not been publicly disclosed, it is anticipated that Moon Pursuit Capital will receive a portion of the upcoming $SHRD token. This token is expected to launch in Q2 2025 and will be central to the platform's economy, enabling premium game asset purchases, staking, and marketplace trading.

Andrometa is a web3-based social gaming platform and multi-genre gaming ecosystem that is set in an anime-themed universe. The platform aims to provide users with the ability to create, play, and stream games, using 3D avatars and advanced AI motion capture technology. This technology is designed to simplify and lower the cost of virtual content creation, particularly in VTubing. With full-body tracking, Andrometa’s AI motion capture technology is expected to reduce the complexity and costs associated with VTubing by up to 95%. The platform allows users to engage in both gaming and content creation in a seamless, immersive environment.
Players can interact with the platform using 3D avatars, which serve dual purposes: both for gaming and for streaming as part of the VTubing experience. The avatars can be used for in-game battles or virtual livestreaming across multiple platforms. A free demo of the AniMee technology is available on Andrometa’s website, allowing users to try out the system and gain access to the alpha version of the VTuber platform when it becomes available. A beta release of AniMee is scheduled for Q2 2025.
As part of its strategy to engage users, Andrometa offers a free-to-play mobile game called SWRMS. This third-person roguelite game takes place in a sci-fi anime world, where players dash and slash through waves of enemies. The game incorporates a progression system, allowing players to unlock rare materials and resources to craft weapons, armor, and other items. These crafted items can be traded in the platform's peer-to-peer marketplace, where in-game currency, Andros, is earned. Andros can then be converted into the upcoming $SHRD token.
SWRMS is available on both Android and iOS devices and is currently being tested by players through the SWRMS Open Playtest. This playtest includes an airdrop of 2.5 million $SHRD tokens to participants. Additionally, Andrometa plans to release the game in early access on the Nintendo Switch in Q2 2025, with a full release scheduled for Q4 2025. By the end of this year, Andrometa intends to onboard up to 20 games into its ecosystem, further expanding its reach and gaming options for users.
