The Social Mission Behind 6079

The team at AI Layer, inspired by George Orwell’s "1984," created the 6079 project. Named after Winston Smith, the protagonist who challenges totalitarian rule, 6079 embodies the “free think” movement. This initiative advocates for the right to think independently, challenge norms, and explore freely. This movement intersects AI, gaming, and blockchain technologies.

6079 aims to create trusted AI networks verified through gaming. These networks are tested to ensure they can withstand attacks and remain reliable. The long-term goal is to decentralize AI, moving control away from centralized platforms like Microsoft, Google, Meta, and OpenAI, and making AI an open standard technology.

How Nodeshifter XP Works

In Nodeshifter XP, players engage in a global struggle for control over the global intelligence network (g.i.n.). This network derives power from the World Mind, an AI entity supported by twelve genesis nodes around the globe. These nodes, maintained by The Collective—a group of dedicated humans—ensure the harmonious operation of the World Mind and the symbiotic relationship between humans and AI.

However, this balance is threatened by Colonel Panik, a rogue commander aiming to seize control of the genesis nodes and the World Mind. Players act as Node Protectors and Node Shifters, civilians, and resistance fighters working to defend and restore the network.
