TOKYO BEAST is set to host its largest tournament to date, the $1 million Gaming Championship, beginning on Saturday, June 21. The event will offer a top prize valued at approximately $14,500 and more than $100,000 in total confirmed rewards. This championship represents the biggest competitive event in TOKYO BEAST’s history. The entire tournament will be streamed live on the official TOKYO BEAST Twitch channel with commentary to provide viewers with detailed coverage.
$1 Million Gaming Championship Event
TOKYO BEAST is a web3-based battle game set in a futuristic version of Tokyo in the year 2124. The game centers around collecting and upgrading android fighters called BEASTs. These digital characters engage in 3D auto-battles that require a combination of strategic planning and real-time decision-making.
The gameplay is divided into two main modes. BASE mode allows players to manage their BEASTs, breed new fighters, and stake TGT tokens. TRIALS mode involves sending teams into combat matches where outcomes depend on team strength and tactical choices. In addition to playing, users can watch matches and place bets on the outcomes using TGT tokens or special betting chips earned in the game. TOKYO BEAST is free to play and does not require a crypto wallet for participation.
TGT is the primary token used within the TOKYO BEAST ecosystem. It serves multiple purposes, including upgrading fighters, staking for rewards, placing bets, and entering tournaments. The token was launched in May 2025, shortly before the game’s global release. TOKYO BEAST also issued 500 VIP NFTs that provide holders with benefits such as early access, exclusive drops, and priority for future airdrops.
$1 Million Gaming Championship Event
The championship is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM PST on June 21. Before the competition begins, a betting window will be open from midnight to 12:59 PM PST the same day. Viewers and participants can place predictions using in-game "CHAMPIONSHIP CHIPs." Typically, players receive one chip per day, but during the championship week, they will be awarded two chips daily, allowing up to 12 chips total for betting. This provides additional opportunities to engage with the tournament and win rewards.
The prize pool has increased significantly compared to previous events. The first-place winner will receive around $14,500, a notable rise from the $3,500 top prize awarded in the initial championship held last week. The second-place finisher is expected to receive approximately $5,200. Additional rewards will be distributed among players who place within the top 8 and top 20, with the minimum payout set at $700. Furthermore, TOKYO BEAST has allocated an additional $34,500 to the HIT5 payout pools in both the BASE and TRIALS game modes, increasing the overall prize distribution.
$1 Million Gaming Championship Event
The $1 million Gaming Championship was announced in March 2025, marking the beginning of a series of events designed to build interest and participation. In April, TOKYO BEAST conducted a closed beta involving 200 players. This beta event offered a prize pool of $20,000 in the game’s native TGT token, with the winner receiving $10,000. Additional rewards were shared among other participants and fans who successfully predicted match outcomes.
In early June, TOKYO BEAST hosted a Special Early Access event for 3,000 players. This event introduced the 4v4 "Matchup" mode ahead of the global release. The prize pool for this event was $160,000, distributed via daily lotteries and incentives for social media engagement. Players earned lottery entries by logging in, playing matches, and completing missions.
TOKYO BEAST officially launched on June 8. The launch was followed by the first CHAMPIONSHIP tournament on June 14, which awarded a top prize of approximately $3,500 in TGT tokens. Players who participate in both the June 14 and June 21 tournaments are eligible for a $700 bonus in tokens, providing additional incentive for continued participation.

The upcoming $1 million Gaming Championship is expected to feature a comprehensive rewards system. The champion will receive approximately $14,500 in TGT tokens, while the runner-up will take home around $5,200. Additional prizes will be distributed among players finishing in the top 8 and top 20. All payouts will be made in TGT tokens, valued at approximately $0.046 per token, though this may fluctuate with market conditions.
The event also includes an extra $34,500 added to the HIT5 payout pools for both BASE and TRIALS modes, increasing the opportunities for participants to earn rewards. The championship will be streamed live on the platform Twitch, providing real-time commentary and allowing viewers to follow the competition closely.
Participants and viewers can join the live stream at the official TOKYO BEAST Twitch channel, twitch.tv/tokyobeast_en. The event marks an important step for TOKYO BEAST within the growing web3 gaming sector, offering a substantial prize pool and engaging gameplay.
