Explore vast regions, tame Venari, battle, and compete with other Seekers as you unveil the secrets of the Kore in Legends of Venari, the first multi-chain creature collection MMO-lite on browser. The main world of Legends of Venari interconnects all blockchains by transforming them into Chain Worlds, which are blockchain-themed locations that connect millions of users across the web3 ecosystem. 

Players can travel through Chain Worlds to obtain and earn rare chain-exclusive Venari and materials to aid them on their journey. Socialize, compete against, and work together against rival Chain Worlds as you explore the interconnected universe of Legends of Venari.

Game Lore

The story of Legends of Venari begins with humanity's search for a new home, leading them to the planet Caerras. This world is inhabited by mystical creatures called Venari, who serve as guardians of the Kore, a life force that sustains all living things on the planet. Over time, humans and Venari have built a society where advanced technology meets ancient traditions. However, a devastating outbreak has disrupted this balance, transforming the once-peaceful Venari into corrupted monsters and ravaging the continent of Tecta. 

As a Seeker, you are tasked with harnessing the power of the Kore to combat this corruption and restore order to Caerras. Aligned with one of three factions—Talaw, Vestal, or Azule—you must choose your path and fight to cleanse the Venari and protect the world. Each faction in Legends of Venari has its own unique approach to the challenges at hand. Talaw Seekers are formidable fighters, Azule Seekers are resourceful engineers, and Vestal Seekers have a deep connection to the Kore, emphasizing survival and resilience.

Gameplay and Features

Exploration: As a Seeker, you’ll journey across the diverse landscapes of Caerras, from the city outskirts of Tecta to dense forests and other regions. Each area presents its own set of challenges and opportunities, requiring players to carefully select their Venari companions. Each Venari has unique skills and preferences for specific biomes, making strategic planning essential for success.

Crafting: After returning from your explorations, you’ll find a safe haven in the hub, where you can store your collected resources. These resources can be used to craft a variety of items, including tools for taming Venari and items that can revive fallen allies. Crafting is a key aspect of progression, allowing you to enhance your Venari and prepare for future challenges. Effective resource management and crafting will play a significant role in your journey through Caerras.

Battle: Combat in Legends of Venari is designed to be engaging and strategic. Using your tamed Venari, you’ll face off against wild Venari in real-time battles, where your decisions can influence the outcome. Each Venari has its own abilities and passives, which you can use to damage enemies, heal allies, or tame new creatures. The unpredictability of battles, especially those that occur during exploration, adds an extra layer of challenge. Players must be prepared for unexpected encounters, as failure could result in losing valuable resources.

Venari: Caerras is teeming with diverse Venari creatures. Seekers have discovered over 50 Venari species, ranging from mesmerizing marine creatures to majestic winged beasts to adept mountain predators. All of the species appear in up to 8 different elements and mysterious other versions. Be the one to uncover new species on your journey through Caerras. Venari will be available to be Ascended and minted on each Chain World, granting them unique buffs while exploring their associated Chain World.Use your Venari to battle wild Venari or other players, or use them to gather resources and craft various items, ranging from taming items such as Kore Seals to meals to keep your Venari healthy during longer expeditions.

Chain Worlds: The game expands beyond the traditional single-world setup by introducing Chain Worlds, each linked to a different blockchain. These worlds offer unique environments, Venari, and challenges that reflect the characteristics of their respective blockchains. This multichain approach allows for a dynamic and interconnected gaming experience, where players can interact with and explore different blockchain ecosystems. 

NFTs and Blockchain

Legends of Venari integrates Web3 into their game, with the $KORE token serving as a multi-chain utility token that powers the Chain Worlds. Players can earn, stake, and spend $KORE to enhance their gameplay, from purchasing items in the premium shop to earning Kore Fragments by burning onchain Venari. Each Chain World also features its own marketplace, where players can buy and sell Venari using $ETH, further contributing to the game’s economy.

In addition to traditional gameplay, Legends of Venari integrates blockchain activity by rewarding players for their onchain transactions. This system adds a layer of engagement, where players can claim Venari based on their transactions, with the potential for additional rewards. 

How to Get Started

The currently live open playtest is accessible to everyone and serves as a precursor to the free-to-play public release. Players can earn Airdrop Shards by battling wild Venari, completing quests, and exploring the game world. This playtest offers an opportunity to test the existing features and provide valuable feedback on the experience.
