Solve all mysteries in Indiana Jones Order of Giants DLC. Get safe codes, puzzle solutions, and artifact locations with our complete guide.
The Order of Giants DLC brings three challenging mysteries to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, each packed with puzzle-solving excitement and valuable rewards. You'll navigate through ancient chambers, decode religious clues, and piece together historical murals while hunting for Mithraic Artifacts and rare skill books. These mysteries aren't just optional content, as they're essential for unlocking the Depths of the City achievement and securing some of the DLC's best loot.
The DLC features exactly three mystery puzzles scattered across Rome's underground passages and historic buildings. Each mystery rewards you with unique items:
You must complete all three mysteries to unlock the Depths of the City achievement, which is required for 100% DLC completion.
Mystery Name | Location | Primary Reward | Difficulty |
---|---|---|---|
Collegial Mystery | Casina Pio IV Upper Floor | Hard Crust Adventure Book | Easy |
Tale of Wine Making | Sewer Dead End | Mithraic Artifact | Medium |
Bull in the Sky | Mithraeum Underground | Mithraic Artifact | Medium |
Your first mystery begins right at the DLC's opening location. Head to the upper floor of Casina Pio IV and enter the debate room on the right side. You'll spot a safe immediately, but don't expect to crack it without proper preparation.
Walk to the western desk in this room and interact with the letter sitting there. This document officially starts the Collegial Mystery and provides your first clue about the safe's contents.
The real breakthrough comes from a second note hidden beneath one of the debate booths on the left side of the room. This note contains three cryptic religious references:
These clues direct you to examine the paintings hanging around the debate room. Each painting depicts a biblical scene with countable figures.
The paintings hold your answer. Count carefully:
Enter 1222 into the safe to unlock it. Inside, you'll discover two important documents plus the Hard Crust combat adventure book, which teaches valuable fighting techniques for the challenges ahead.
Your second mystery lurks in Rome's underground sewer system. Navigate to the dead end passage where you'll notice a breakable wall positioned next to some sledgehammers - a not-so-subtle hint about your next move.
Smash the wall with the sledgehammers to reveal a hidden chamber. Two enemies guard this space, so dispatch them quickly before exploring. Once clear, collect the clue note and gather all the scattered puzzle pieces for the wine-making mural.
The mural tells the story of wine production from grape to goblet:
Missing pieces can blend into the chamber's shadows. Check every corner and behind debris to ensure you've collected everything needed.
Arrange the pieces to complete the wine-making narrative from start to finish. Success rewards you with a Mithraic Artifact, crucial for the Seven Grades achievement.
The final mystery awaits in the Mithraeum underground area. When you enter the main chamber, you'll spot two enemies examining a seemingly ordinary door. Defeat them first, then approach the door they were studying.
Despite lacking an obvious interaction prompt, you can actually interact with this door to reveal a secret room containing the Bull in the Sky mystery. Inside, you'll find:
Each bull weight features a different number of dots on its surface - this detail is crucial for proper placement. Collect all five weights and examine their dot patterns carefully.
The solution requires placing weights in ascending order based on their dot count:
Take time to examine each weight's dot pattern before placing them. Incorrect placement forces you to restart the entire sequence.
Successfully completing this puzzle grants another Mithraic Artifact and brings you closer to collecting all seven grades needed for the corresponding achievement.
The Order of Giants DLC may be short, but its mix of clever puzzles and meaningful rewards makes it worth tackling. By solving all three mysteries, you’ll not only grab rare items and artifacts but also secure the Depths of the City achievement, making this a must-complete chapter for any player aiming for 100% completion.
