High on Life 2 Guide: All Guns and How to Get Them

High On Life 2 lets players build a diverse weapon collection filled with talking companions. Each weapon has unique attacks and special abilities that change how you fight enemies and solve puzzles. Collecting all of them gives you more options in combat and makes puzzles easier to handle.

What Guns Can You Collect in High on Life 2?

The game includes nine main weapons. Three return from the first game, one comes from the High on Knife DLC, and five are new. Knifey, your melee companion, also comes back, but is not counted as a gun. Here's your complete checklist:

How Do You Unlock Each Weapon

Gus and Sweezy

Players start with Gus and Sweezy. Gus’s disc launcher deals heavy damage, and discs can ricochet off objects using Knifey. Sweezy’s time bubble slows platforms, freezes hazards, and can slow enemies for strategic advantage.

Sheath

Sheath joins your collection after completing the Senator Muppy Doo bounty. His special attack sends a controllable projectile that chains between multiple enemies, similar to Yondu's arrow from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Maximize Sheath's effectiveness by positioning yourself where you can see multiple targets. The chain attack follows your aim, so sweep across enemy groups to maximize damage.

Travis

Travis is unlocked after the Billionaire Larry Pinkstock mission. His gravity ability lifts enemies and objects, useful for aerial combos and environmental puzzles.

Creature

Creature joins during the Jeppy pickup mission. His summoned offspring handle crowd control effectively but have limited duration. Deploy strategically when enemies cluster.

B.A.L.L.

Unlocked by finding three blue men scattered in the open world, B.A.L.L. drops a pinball-style bumper for chaotic projectile attacks. It’s the only weapon not tied to story progression.

Jan

Unlocked after the dinner with mum mission, Jan can dual-wield with Travis, combining gravity manipulation with ranged attacks for flexible combat.

Bowie

Bowie becomes available after the Finance Wiz James Stevenson bounty. His soul hole ability highlights weak points on enemies and objects, helping with boss fights and puzzles.

Shoot-O

Shoot-O unlocks after completing the Party City store mission. His gravity throw allows hurling objects without switching weapons, simplifying environmental combat.

Which Weapons Work Best Together?

Combining weapons creates devastating synergies. Here are proven combinations:

Most weapons unlock naturally through story missions or bounties. Only B.A.L.L. requires extra exploration. Switching between weapons during fights lets you chain abilities and deal more damage. For puzzles, try different weapons to find the one that reveals the solution.

Collecting every weapon and experimenting with combos makes combat and puzzles more manageable and gives you the full High On Life 2 experience.
