The B.A.L.L. gun stands out as one of the wildest weapons you can wield in High on Life 2. This chaotic pinball launcher fires bouncing projectiles that ricochet off walls and enemies, creating absolute mayhem wherever you aim. The catch? You cannot simply pick it up during the main story. Instead, you need to hunt down three adorable little Ball Guys scattered across the game world.
Each Ball Guy requires completing a different activity, from rhythm games to fishing expeditions. Once you gather all three, the weapon unlocks back at your base. Here is everything you need to know about tracking down these collectibles and adding the B.A.L.L. gun to your arsenal.
What Is the B.A.L.L. Gun and Why Should You Care?
The B.A.L.L. gun originally appeared in the High on Knife DLC for the first game. Now it returns as part of the base experience in High on Life 2, making it your seventh and final weapon option. Unlike your standard Gatlians, this one fires projectiles that bounce unpredictably around environments, dealing damage in hilarious and often surprising ways.

Tip
The B.A.L.L. gun excels in enclosed spaces where projectiles can bounce between walls and hit multiple targets.
How Does the Ball Guy Unlock System Work?
You cannot access the B.A.L.L. gun until you collect all three Ball Guys. These small blue creatures are hidden behind specific activities in Circuit Arcadia and Pinkline Harbor. Each one you collect gets stored, and only when the set is complete does the weapon become available at your home base.
Where to Find Ball Guy 1: Liquid Nights Dance Battle
What Do You Need Before Starting?
You must progress far enough in the main story to unlock Bowie, one of your Gatlians. His special ability opens the entrance to the Liquid Nights nightclub in Pinkline Harbor. Without Bowie, you cannot access this area at all.
How to Win the Dance Battle
Head to the southern part of Pinkline Harbor and look for the club entrance. Use Bowie's ability to open the door and step inside. The atmosphere hits you immediately with loud, bizarre music and the signature crude humor the series is known for.

Collect the 3 B.A.L.L Guys
Speak with DJ Globbo and the other DJs to initiate the dance battle. This plays out as a rhythm minigame with timed button inputs. Press the indicated keys when prompted, matching the beat of the music.
Info
You do not need perfect timing to win. Just perform well enough to impress the judges, and they will hand over the Ball Guy as your prize.
This is typically the easiest Ball Guy to obtain once you have Bowie unlocked.
Where to Find Ball Guy 2: Circuit Arcadia Taxi Jobs
How to Start the Taxi Side Quest
This mission does not appear on your map, so you need to explore a bit. From the central fast travel point in Circuit Arcadia, head north until you spot a taxi engulfed in flames. Standing nearby is a driver named Clutch who desperately needs help.
Talk to him and accept the job offer. He will give you the Taxi Balls, and your task becomes transporting passengers around the city.
How to Complete All Passenger Deliveries
While the quest is active, look for NPCs waving their arms with flag icons floating above their heads. These passengers need rides to specific destinations, also marked with flag indicators on your screen.

Collect the taxi mission markers to get closer to the gun
You need to deliver ten passengers total. Some are easy to spot in obvious locations, but others require searching:
- Check around the Mall area
- Look near the Metro Station
- Explore elevated platforms and higher areas
Warning
Passengers can die if you take too long or crash badly. However, failed deliveries do not prevent quest completion as long as you finish all ten trips.
After completing the passenger runs, return to Clutch. He becomes your final fare and asks you to drive him to Rhea Plaza. You get plenty of time for this last trip, even without dash upgrades. Drop him off successfully, and the second Ball Guy is yours.
Where to Find Ball Guy 3: Circuit Arcadia Zoo Fishing
How to Get the Fishing Rod First
Before heading to the zoo, you must obtain a fishing rod. Travel to Pinkline Harbor and find the beach area where a fisherman sits in his chair near a stuck boat. Interact with him to learn about his problem.
Use your Gatlian ability (specifically Travis) to lift the boat from its troubled spot. The grateful fisherman rewards you with Rod, your new fishing companion.

How to Catch the Ball Guy
With Rod in hand, travel to Circuit Arcadia Zoo and head to the southern section. Look for two white chairs positioned near a fishing spot. When you arrive at the correct location, you will hear dialogue confirming you are in the right place.
Cast your line and start fishing. The zoo contains several unique fish species, but one of them is actually the Ball Guy in disguise. Keep an eye out for:
- Sparkling fish swimming in the water
- Gold colored fish that stand out from the rest
- Rare catches you have not hooked before
Tip
Fishing can feel awkward since you cannot control which fish bites. Just keep casting until you hook a golden one, and eventually, the Ball Guy will appear.
How to Unlock the B.A.L.L. Gun at Your Base
Once you have collected all three Ball Guys, fast travel back to your home base. Head toward the area near the fridge where your wanted poster hangs. You will notice a small pet carrier or enclosure sitting there.

The B.A.L.L. gun rests on top of this container. Walk up and interact with it to officially add the weapon to your inventory. You also unlock the B.A.L.L In The Family achievement for your trouble.
From this point forward, the B.A.L.L. gun remains available for the rest of your adventure. Swap to it whenever you want some bouncing projectile chaos in your firefights.
