The primary resources in the game are Gold, Oil, and RUBY, Mavia's in-game cryptocurrency.&nbsp;In terms of gameplay, Heroes of Mavia is highly intuitive, especially for players familiar with games like Clash of Clans. Players manage resources such as gold and oil to strategically build their base and assemble an army for looting other players. The strategic element extends to both offense and defense. On offense, players must carefully position their army units at the enemy base to maximize loot or destroy the enemy HQ. On defense, the placement of defensive towers and traps is crucial to minimize potential loot for attackers and to protect the HQ from destruction.

Similar to Clash of Clans, players in Mavia Island build and grow their bases, train armies, and battle other players. However, what sets Mavia Island apart is the ability to earn real cryptocurrency, specifically RUBY, by competing against other players.

To start earning Heroes of Mavia's RUBY, players must first build a ground and air forces, which consist of vehicle, infantry, and air units. These forces can then be used to battle other players and protect their own base from attacks. Additionally, players should assemble a defensive army and upgrade their troops to increase their defense. This can be especially important when trying to protect valuable resources.

To progress in Heroes of Mavia, players should also level up their HQ. A higher level HQ allows for more advanced buildings, which can be used to further strengthen a player's base and army. Maximizing walls and towers is also crucial for protecting the base and buildings from attackers. Players should deploy traps and decoys to further defend their base. Traps can help players catch opponents off-guard and defend their base against attacks.

In addition to the excitement of battling other players and building an army, Mavia Island offers the unique opportunity to earn real cryptocurrency. By successfully competing against other players, gamers can earn more RUBY to use as they please.

The integration of NFTs within Heroes of Mavia provides players with a variety of in-game assets that can be bought, sold, and upgraded over time. The main NFT categories are Land, Heroes, and Statues, each with its own unique benefits and utilities.

The NFTs in Heroes of Mavia aren’t just collectibles, as they play a big role in shaping how you compete and progress. <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/mavia-land" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Land NFTs</a> are your ticket to owning a base in the game. Without a Land NFT, you’re essentially on the sidelines. Land can be bought, sold, or even rented out for passive income through the marketplace. If you own Land, you’re in line for perks like higher RUBY earnings, whitelist spots for special events, and free entry into tournaments. On top of that, Land NFTs can now be transferred between Ethereum and Base, giving you more control over how and where you want to trade.

Hero NFTs are your main offensive and defensive tools. With up to four Heroes on your base, they assist in attacks or defend your assets. Over time, you can upgrade them, making them more powerful and valuable. With the latest updates, the hero Mira got new abilities, adding even more depth to combat strategies.

Statue NFTs are all about efficiency. These offer buffs to your base, speeding up things like resource production, troop training, and building cooldowns. You can equip up to four Statues at a time, and having the right combination can give you a serious edge in building and defending your base.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The introduction of MAVIA tokens in 2024 was a major upgrade for the game’s ecosystem. These tokens are your gateway to in-game trading, used to buy and sell NFTs in the Web3 marketplace. You’ll be using MAVIA and RUBY tokens to purchase or lease assets like Land NFTs, and a portion of the marketplace fees (2.5%) goes back to reward liquidity providers—making every trade a part of the ecosystem.

Meanwhile, RUBY tokens are at the heart of the game’s play-to-earn mechanic. You’ll earn RUBY by battling other players in PvP, completing daily challenges, and staking MAVIA tokens. RUBY is used for upgrading your base, unlocking new units, and participating in PvP events. There’s even a Ruby Scan feature that lets you track all your RUBY transactions, similar to how blockchain explorers work, which is useful for monitoring your NFT purchases and game-related activities.

Heroes of Mavia also added a token swap feature that allows for easy conversion between MAVIA and RUBY, giving players more flexibility in how they manage their in-game finances. Plus, Ruby Staking lets you lock up RUBY tokens for a set time and earn more MAVIA tokens in return

Heroes of Mavia recently celebrated a successful global launch, quickly amassing over 1 million downloads in just a few days.
