With tremendous progress in the web3 gaming space since last year's iteration, over 750+ web3 games were played collectively between our team members for evaluation to put forward the best 30 games in each of the applicable categories in front of the 50+ member jury for their top 5 selection. After conducting this first round of voting exclusively by the jury, their votes are tallied to get the top 5 finalists in each category. During the nomination stage, if a game gets nominated by an overwhelming majority of people, it will be considered to replace one of the nominees put forward to the jurors in our list. 3 exceptions are: The People’s Choice, Content Creator, and Games’ Choice. Both People’s Choice and Content Creator are 100% nominated and voted on by the community. Meanwhile, Games’ Choice pushes web3 games to recognize each other’s work and nominate which game they admire the most outside of themselves. The second round features a mixture of jury voting and community input to determine the winner of each category.

After tallying the jury votes from the first round, the top 5 finalists in each category are announced publicly. The second round of voting to select the winner involves the community in the decision with the jury holding 90% of the voting power and 10% decided by the community voting for their favorite game in each category on our platform.

The jury's diversity and 50+ members ensures a transparent and fair voting process for all web3 games under consideration. The jury selected are notable industry figures, thought leaders, ecosystems, and media outlets.

Games eligible for the GAM3 Awards this year must have a public playable demo or have previously offered private access to the game to any of the core GAM3S.GG team before October 3, 2025. Any games after that cutoff date will not be eligible and won’t be considered for this year’s iteration.

Yes, any game stands a chance. However, similar to the cutoff criteria, your game must have a public playable demo or have previously offered private access to the game to any of the core GAM3S.GG team before October 3, 2025. We are willing to play dev builds and even pre-alpha games as long as you have a product for us to try out and enjoy. If your game is not ready, don't worry, it can still be nominated for the "Most Anticipated" category.

You can only submit a game for an award in the People’s Choice award and you can nominate your favorite Content Creator to win the award. The Game’s Choice is decided by games participating in the event to nominate their favorite web3 game. Outside of that, the rest of the categories are all decided after evaluating over 750+ to choose the 30 best games to put forward to the 50+ member jury for their top 5 selection in each of the eligible 18 categories.
