Arc Raiders' Rare And Epic Rubber Duck ...

Rubber Ducks are collectible trinkets in ARC Raiders. While the original yellow Rubber Duck has been in the game for a while, the Headwinds update added six new variants. These new ducks are tied to a specific map condition and location, meaning they cannot be found during regular raids.

If you are trying to complete your collection or farm Coins, knowing where these ducks spawn is essential.

How Many Rubber Ducks Are There

There are seven Rubber Duck variants in ARC Raiders. Six were added in the Headwinds update, alongside the original yellow Rubber Duck.

All Rubber Duck Variants

  • Rubber Duck (Original)

  • Tropical Duck

  • Gentle Duck

  • Alien Duck

  • Doodly Duck

  • Flashy Duck

  • Familiar Duck

Each variant has a different rarity and sell price. The Familiar Duck is the most valuable, selling for 7,000 Coins.

Rubber Ducks can stack up to 15 per slot, making high-rarity ducks some of the most valuable inventory items in the game.

Where Rubber Ducks Spawn

All new Rubber Duck variants only spawn during the Bird City minor map condition on the Buried City map. They do not appear during normal raids.

When Bird City is active:

  • Birds create nests inside chimneys

  • Nests can contain Rubber Ducks, trinkets, materials, and food

  • Only specific buildings can spawn nests

If Bird City is not active, the new ducks will not spawn.

Buildings That Contain Rubber Ducks

Rubber Ducks are found inside bird nests, which appear in chimneys. However, not every building can spawn these nests.

Bird nests only appear on Italian-style buildings. These buildings usually have terracotta tile roofs, decorative chimneys, and older residential designs. Modern buildings, industrial structures, and flat-roof warehouses do not spawn nests at all.

If you are searching chimneys on the wrong building type, you will not find any Rubber Ducks.

Best Areas to Search for Rubber Ducks

The best places to find Rubber Ducks are areas with a high number of Italian-style buildings.

Old Town is the most reliable location. It has dense rooftops, multiple chimneys close together, and more chances to find several bird nests in one run.

Village is another good option. It has fewer buildings but also less player traffic, making it safer for solo players who want to loot without constant fights.

Both areas use the same spawn rules, so the difference comes down to building density and player activity.

How to Check Chimneys Efficiently

Once Bird City is active, the process is simple.

Climb onto rooftops and check the tops of chimneys for bird nests. Each nest can contain any Rubber Duck variant, including the rare Familiar Duck. Nests only spawn once per raid and do not respawn.

Because of this, it is best to move quickly between rooftops and extract once nearby chimneys have been checked.

Rubber Duck Values and Rarity

Duck value depends on rarity:

A full stack of Familiar Ducks can sell for 105,000 Coins, making Bird City one of the strongest money routes in ARC Raiders.

Important Things to Know

  • Rubber Ducks do not spawn in random containers or ground loot. They only come from bird nests during Bird City.

  • Not every chimney will have a nest, even on the correct buildings. This is normal and part of the event’s randomness.

  • Running multiple short raids during Bird City is more effective than staying in one long raid and searching the entire map.
