The With a View quest in Arc Raiders is a mid-game mission given by Shani, the Security Trader. Players are sent to Stella Montis to investigate strange lights in the sky, but progress is locked behind two specific items: a Rotary Encoder and an Ion Sputter.

Both required items only spawn on Stella Montis and rely heavily on RNG. Because of that, this quest is more about efficient looting and safe extraction than combat. It can also be completed across multiple raids, so there is no need to finish everything in one run.
What You'll Need Before Starting
To finish the With a View quest, players need to complete the following actions:
Find a Rotary Encoder
Use it in a control room at the Assembly Line
Interact with a nearby computer terminal
Find and extract with an Ion Sputter
Deliver the Ion Sputter to Shani
Both required items only spawn on Stella Montis, so all progress must be made on that map.

Where to Use the Rotary Encoder
After finding a Rotary Encoder, head to the Assembly Line area on Stella Montis. Inside the Assembly Line are several control rooms. Any control room works.
Look for a yellow glowing control panel inside the room. Interact with it while carrying the Rotary Encoder. The item is consumed during this step.
Once the switch is activated, interact with the computer terminal nearby. This step is required to progress the quest, so make sure it is completed before leaving the area.

How to Complete the Final Step
The last part of the quest requires finding an Ion Sputter. This is an Epic item that commonly spawns in Assembly Workshops on Stella Montis.
Check tool tables, drawers, and cabinets. Because the Ion Sputter is a quest item, it should be placed in a safe pocket as soon as it is found.
After securing the Ion Sputter, extract successfully and return to Speranza. Hand the item to Shani to complete the With a View quest.
