The Valentine Flowers event in 99 Nights in the Forest introduces a limited-time gathering system that changes how players approach survival. For one week, flowers spawn across the forest and can be used in two new ways: decorating your base for passive bonuses or crafting bouquets to trade with NPCs for powerful gear.

Valentine Flowers Event Dates and Schedule

The event kicks off on Saturday, February 14th at 1:00 PM EST and wraps up on Saturday, February 21st at 5:59 AM EST. That gives you roughly a week to hunt down flowers and decide your strategy.

New Flower Gathering System

The main addition in this update is Valentine Flowers, a temporary resource that spawns across the forest map. Flowers appear in specific locations and can be collected by interacting with them directly.

Spawn points appear to reset over time, which encourages players to learn routes and revisit known spots. Flowers are stored in the inventory and can then be used in one of two new systems introduced by the event.

This gathering mechanic adds a calmer objective alongside the usual survival gameplay, but the real impact comes from how players choose to use the flowers.

Base Decoration Bonuses

One option is placing flowers around the player’s base. Decorating unlocks passive survival bonuses that apply while inside the camp area.

The more flowers placed, the stronger the effects become. Bonuses may include faster health recovery at camp, improved stamina regeneration, better defensive performance, and small boosts to resource efficiency near the base.

These effects stack based on how many flowers are used. A small number provides light bonuses, while larger amounts unlock stronger improvements. This path supports players who prefer steady survival advantages rather than quick power spikes.

NPC Bouquet Rewards

This allows players to craft bouquets from collected flowers and give them to NPCs found around the map.

In return, NPCs provide powerful gear rewards. These items are stronger than standard equipment and can significantly improve combat or survival efficiency. Rewards may include high-damage weapons, stronger defensive gear, or unique tools not normally available.

Unlike base decoration, bouquet trading delivers immediate benefits. However, once flowers are given to NPCs, they cannot be used for base upgrades. Players must choose between long-term passive boosts or stronger short-term gear.

99 Nights in the Forest Valentines Flowers Event

The Valentine Flowers event is designed as a short-term update that encourages exploration and choice. Players can focus on strengthening their base, chasing powerful gear from NPCs, or splitting flowers between both systems.

Since the event only runs for about a week, efficient flower gathering and early decision-making are important. Once the event ends, the flower system and its rewards will no longer be available.
